BRAHMANBARIA: Two robbers were beaten to death by angry mob at Loshiara village under Kasba Upazila of the district early Tuesday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Kasba Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said a gang of armed robbers attacked the house of late Dhan Mia member in the area around 2:30am.

Sensing their presence, members of the house sought help from villagers over mobile phone, he added.

Later, villagers attacked the robbers en bloc and beaten two to death, OC Mohiuddin Ahmed added.

Police took the bodies to the police station in the morning.
