DHAKA: The 10th Jatiya Sangsad will go into its eighth session on November 8 (Sunday).

Prior to the session to be commenced at 4:30pm, a meeting of the business advisory committee will be held to fix its duration and businesses.

President Abdul Hamid on Thursday convened the parliament session by exercising his power bestowed upon him under article 72 (1) of the Constitution.

Earlier, the seventh session of the 10th parliament ended on September 18, commencing from September 1.

The parliament will go into winter session in January next year, said sources concerned.
