JESSORE: A man and his daughter were killed in road accident on Jessore-Khulna highway in front of Singia College on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Insan Ali, 52, resided in Khulna residential area and his 19-year-old daughter Farzana.

Highway police Noapara thana officer in charge (OC) KM Azizul Islam told banglanews that the duo riding on a motorbike heading to Jessore town.

When they reached near to Singia College, a truck coming from opposite direction ran over their bike, leaving both of them dead on the spot, the OC added.
