DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia commented that they did not find any involvement of militants in the murder of Italy national Cesare Tavella in city.

He made this comment on Sunday at a press conference on security preparation held at DMP media center on the occasions of Durga Puja and Ashura.

According to him, the law enforcers have identified the conspirators of this murder and they will be brought to trial soon.

The DMP commissioner further said that no minimum involvement of militants is found in Tavella murder.

‘It was a conspiracy. We have identified the conspirators and planners of the killing. The information collected on the matter is being examined. We will disclose it soon.’

‘Investigation is going on in full-swing,’ he added.
