DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina put emphasis on the director flight from Bangladesh to Turkey.
She told the newly appointed Turkish ambassador to Bangladesh Devrim Ozturk made a courtesy call to her at PMO in city on Sunday.
PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim informed the media after the meeting.
Sheikh Hasina mentioned the role of Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) in technology, technical and community health sectors.
She also mentioned the existing bilateral military cooperation between Turkey and Bangladesh.
The Turkish envoy also assured the PM that the bilateral relations will be stronger in his tenure.
PM’s international affairs adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi and PMO secretary Suraiya Begum were also present during the meeting, Ihsanul Karim added.
