DHAKA: Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) motor rally has reached Dhaka on Sunday after covering around 3,500-km in sixteen days.
The rally reached city’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel at 5:15pm.
Road transport and bridges ministry joint secretaries Abdul Maleque and Azharul Islam, BRTC secretary Shamsul Alam, road transport department secretary Shawkat Ali and its deputy secretary Sultana Yasmin, among others, welcomed the rally.
Earlier this morning, the rally left Radisson Blu in Chittagong for Dhaka.
Chittagong City Corporation mayor AJM Nasir Uddin flagged off the rally, comprising of 20 cars.
Sources said that the rally participants will attend a seminar in Dhaka on November 30 and the city for Kolkata of India on December 1.
India’s Kalinga Motors organized this 4-nation rally aiming to strengthen regional connectivity among the neighboring countries.
