SYLHET: A Sylhet court is set to pronounce the verdict in child Abu Sayeed murder case in Sylhet on Monday.
Judge of Sylhet Woman and Child Repression Court Abdur Rashid on Sunday set the date for declaring verdict after concluding the arguments.
Earlier on Thursday, the court completed the recording of testimonies in the murder case.
37 witnesses gave their deposition before the court while a total of 28 witnesses were cross examined in the case.
On November 17, the court framed charges against four people including Sylhet airport Thana Constable Abadur Rahman Putul, Sylhet district unit Ulama League general secretary Nurul Islam Rakib and leader Mahib Hussain Masum in Sayeed killing caseand so called informer of police Athaur Rahman Geda.
On March 14, police recovered decomposed body of Abu Sayeed, a class-IV student of Shahi Eidgah Hazrat Shahi Mir Govt Primary School, from the house of police constable Ebadur at Jharnapar in the city.
