DHAKA: Prime Minister’s Information and Communication Technology affairs adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy on Friday called for national unity for the development of the country.

He was addressing a meeting, organized by Suchinta Bangladesh, as chief guest at a city hotel.

Joy said “We don’t want the razakars, al-badar, al-shams, war criminals and those who allowed the war criminals to carry our national flag.”

The country is developing fast because the liberation war supporting party is in power, he observed.

Joy also said by reacting after the execution of Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mujahid for crimes against humanity Pakistan proved that they were their agents.

The premier’s ICT adviser also observed that Pakistan should seek apology foe their crimes during 1971.

He also asked people to be united to follow the spirit of liberation war.

There always is a place for development and we will strive for that, he added.

Suchinta Bangladesh Chairman Mohammad A Arafat gave the welcome speech in the program.

Barrister Tureen Afroz, Ferdousi Priyabhashini, martyr’s wife Shyamoli Nasrin Chowdhury, cricketer Rakibul Islam were, among others, present here.
