SATKHIRA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested 10 Bangladeshi nationals who were trying to enter Bangladesh illegally from India through Kolaroa border area in Satkhira district.

They were held at around on Wednesday morning (December 23).

The arrestees included Shakil Hossain (24) and Apon Hossain (20), sons of Kapiluddin; Shohorom Ali (28), son of Sekandar Ali; Taslim Hossain (25), son of Gias Uddin; Hamiul Sheikh (18), son of Julhas Sheikh; Saiful Islam (30), son of Nazrul islam; Afzal Hossain (22), son of Nurul Hossain; Akher Ali (35), son of Amzad Ali; Sharif Ali (38), son of Akkan Ali and Mizanur Rahman (40), son of Hayat Ali, from Parsingla village of Singla Thana of Natore district.

BGB’s Madra BOP company commander Abdur Rob told banglanews that 10 Bangladeshis were arrested as they tried to enter Bangladesh illegally.

Later, they were sent to local police station, he added.
