Chittagong: Police arrested more than 100 people in a nightlong operation in different parts of Chittagong district.

Many of detainees were warranted accused in different lawsuits.

Moreover, police also seized 200-ltr of locally-made liquor, 2-gm heroin and 340 pieces of yaba tablets.

District additional police super (special branch) Kazi Abdul Awal informed banglanews about the operation.

He said, in the nightlong drive, police seized 250 pieces of yaba tablets from Jorarganj area, 90 pieces of yaba from Patia, 200-ltr liquor from Banshkhali and 2-gm heroin from Sitakunda upazilas of the district.
