NOAKHALI: Three children, including siblings, drowned in a pond at Debisinghpur village of Nabinagar union under Senbagh upazila of the district on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Sakib Hasan Tanvir, 8, his sister Sabrina Akter Mili, 8, daughter of Chand Mia Milon and Abu Ali John, 6, son of Jahangir Alam Babu of the area.

Sources said the three children drowned in a pond near their house when they went to take bath in the noon.

Later, family members recovered their bodies.

Nabipur Union Parishad chairman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
