DHAKA:  BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Bangladesh Bank ex-Governor Saleh Ahamed joined the dinner party of distinguished Economist Debapriya Bhattacharya on Thursday night.

US Ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena, Indian high commissioner Pankaj Saran, Canadian High Commissioner (HC) in Bangladesh Heather Cruden also attended the party.

Diplomatic sources confirmed that they discussed about the upcoming election method.

CPD Chairman professor Dr Rehman Sobhan, CPD Executive Dr Mostafijur Rahman, Jatiya Party Presidium Member Anisul Islam Mahmud, Bengal Foundation Chairman Abul Khayer Litu were also joint in the party.
