CHANDINA (COMILLA): Vehicular movements on Dhaka-Chittagong highway became normal after around 11 hours of 40-KM long tailback on Friday.  

Iliotganj Highway Police Outpost Sergeant Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The gridlock created at around 4:00am as a truck collided head-on with a lorry in Chhoyghoria under Chandina upazila of the district.

Later, police removed the two vehicles from highway at around 7:30am but the gridlock did not ease.

Two people including lorry driver sustained serious injuries in the accident.
