CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) Jawans detained 31 Bangladeshis from Bibhishan border under Gomastapur upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources said that BSF personnel detained 31 Bangladeshi cattle traders when they intruded into Indian Territory to bring cattle.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Noagaon-43 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mahmudul Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

A flag meeting between BGB and BSF was held on Tuesday evening in this regard and the detainees were handed over to Hobipur Thana of India, he added.
