DHAKA: A police source was chopped to death by assailants in capital’s Razabazar area on Indira road early Monday.

The deceased was identified as Nasim, 30.

Sources said that miscreants chopped him to death in between 02:00am to 03:00am.

Later, on information police recovered his body and sent to Dhaka Medical Hospital Morgue.

Confirming the matter Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana Officer-in-Charge Mominul Haque told banglanews, “He might be killed over previous enmity.”

A case was filed in this connection, he added.
