DHAKA: BNP lawmaker Salauddin Quader Chowdhury has been taken to International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 at 10:00am Tuesday as the tribunal will pronounce verdict in the case filed against him in connection with war crimes.

He was indicted on 23 charges of crimes against humanity including genocide, murder, rape, abduction and tortures.

Earlier in the day, he was taken here from Dhaka Central Jail.

ICT-1 comprising Justice ATM Fazle Kabir, Justice Jahangir Hossain and Justice Anwarul Haq will pass the verdict.
