MYMENSINGH: Two persons were killed in a road accident near Patgudam Bridge of the district on Tuesday.   

One of the deceased was identified as Happy, 8, hailed from Charkalibari area under Sadar upazila.

Sources said that a rashly driven Haluaghat-bound bus knocked a human hauler at the edge of Patgudam Bridge around 12.00pm and the hauler rammed a rickshaw, leaving a minor and a woman dead on the spot and 10 people injured.

The injured were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Kotwali Thana Officer-in-Charge Golam Sarwar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
