A case has been filed after the death of an 'O' level student of Mastermind School, Anushka Amin Arna, in Kalabagan area of the capital.

Victim's father Md Al Amin on Thursday night filed the case with Kalabagan police station accusing Anushka's alleged lover Iftekhar Fardin Dihan of killing her daughter after gang-rape.

Abul Hasan, assistant commissioner (New Market Zone) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Anushka Amin Arna was allegedly killed following gang-rape at Kalabagan by Iftekhar Fardin Dihan and some of his friends on Thursday afternoon.

Kalabagan police arrested four rapists, including main accused in the incident Dihan, immediately after the incident. 

Later, Iftekhar Fardin Dihan gave confessional statements to police.
