RAJSHAHI: Two motorcyclists were killed in an accident took place in Biharipara area at Puthia upazila of the district on Friday evening.

The deceased were identified as Nazmul Hasan, 18, son of Nazim Hasan from Vallukgachhi village and Munayem Hussain, 30, son of Abdul Jalil from the same village under Puthia upazila.

Witnesses said a rashly driven Pabna-bound bus rammed the motorcycle near Shibpur area while trying to overtake another bus, leaving Jalil and Nazmul died on the spot.

Puthia Thana Officer-in- Charge Abu Obaida Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The bodies were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
