DHAKA: At least 15 people were injured in a road accident in Kabirpur of Ashulia, outskirts of the capital, on Monday morning.

Witnesses said that a passenger bus of Palash Paribahan plunged into a roadside ditch and turned turtle when it tried to overtake another bus on Nabinagar-Chandra highway in the area at around 08:30am, leaving 15 people injured.

Later, locals rushed to the spot and sent the injured to hospital.

Ashulia Thana Sub-Inspector Ruhul Amin Confirmed the matter to banglanews.
