Solaiman Hazari Dalim, staff correspondent of banglanews24.com has received the PIB-a2i Mass Media Award 2021 on Sunday. 

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Md Murad Hassan handed him over a crest, certificate and a cheque for Tk 75,000 in this regard at a programme held at The Press Institute of Bangladesh in the capital on Sunday.

State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Polok and State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Md Murad Hassan attended the programme as special guests.

Secretary to the State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Md Mokbul Hossain and a2i Project Director Dr Md Abdul Mannan also joined the programme.

PIB Director General Jafar Wazed presided over the function. 

A total of seven journalists won the PIB-a2i Media Award 2021.

Dalim Hazari won the award in the online newspaper category for his four-episode series report titled 'Digital Life' published on the news portal.
