A fire has broken out at a leather factory in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj this noon.

The incident took place around 12:00 noon.

Deputy Director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defense Abdullah Al Arefin told Banglanews that 13 firefighting units from Dhaka and Narayanganj rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control within one and a half hours. 

There is no report of injury to anyone so far, he said, adding that the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
