A high-level delegation of Bangladesh Awami League on Monday (August 7) held separate meetings with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagat Prakash Nadda and General Secretary Vinod Tawde in New Delhi. 

Led by AL presidium member and Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak, party’s joint general secretary and Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, organising secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, central executive committee member Merina Jahan Kabita and lawmaker from reserved seat-11 Aroma Dutta met BJP president at his residence in New Delhi.

Later, they held another meeting with general secretary Vinod Tawde at BJP headquarters.

Issues relating to regional cooperation, curbing militancy and political stability came up for discussion.
