BNP’s student wing Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) president Kazi Rawnakul Islam Srabon has been removed from the post as the party high command decides to take organisational action against leaders who are not performing duties as per directives.

At a joint meeting at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan office, the party acting chairman on Tuesday gave strong instructions to the party leaders to make their programmes successful.

According to the party sources, the top leadership of the party was dissatisfied with the performance of Srabon in the July 29th Dhaka programme as he could not fulfill the responsibilities assigned by the party properly. 

At the same time, some more leaders of the BNP, its front and associate bodies also may be removed from the party, the sources added.

Meanwhile, the party also decided to stage demonstrations on August 11, meeting sources said.
