BNP begins mass rally at Nayapaltan

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has started its mass rally in front of its central office in the capital's Nayapaltan as part of their one-point demand for the resignation of the AL government and holding the polls under a non-party caretaker government.

The rally started around 4:30pm today (September 9). 

As per the announcement, BNP Dhaka north and south city units bring out separate mass processions in the capital from different points at 2:30pm the marches will end at the party’s Nayapaltan central office. 

The party’s Dhaka north city unit leaders and activists will start the mass procession from Better Life hospital at Rampura that will parade Abul Hotel, Malibagh rail gate, Mouchak, Malibagh crossing, Shantinagar, Kakrail crossing, Nightingale crossing and end at Nayapaltan BNP headquarters.

On the other hand, Dhaka south city unit leaders and activists of the party will start the mass procession from Kamalapur that will parade Peerjongimajar, Arambag, Fakirapool crossing and end at Nayapaltan central office of the party.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the fresh programme at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office in the capital earlier on September 6.

Besides, Ganatantra Manch, Jatiyatabadi Shamamona Jote, LDP, Gana Forum and People’s Party of Bangladesh, Peshajibi Ganatantrik Jote, Ganatantrik Bam Oikya, 12-party alliance, Bangladesh Labour Party, NDM, Bangladesh Sadaran Chhatra Odhikar Sangrakshan Parishad and two factions of Gana Odhikar Parishad will also observe the programme separately in different areas of the capital.
