The main opposition party BNP will hold a rally in the capital today (October 9) demanding unconditional release of the party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia and her better treatment in abroad.

The rally will be held in front of the BNP’s Nayapaltan office at 2 pm.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will address the rally as the chief guest. Members of the National Standing Committee, senior leaders and leaders of organs, allied organizations will speak.

The rally will be chaired by Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Acting Convener Professor Dr. Farhad Halim Donar.
