Fourteen BNP leaders and activists including Jubo Dal former president Saiful Alam Nirob, were jailed on Thursday (December 14) for two and a half years in a sabotage case filed with Tejgaon Police Station. 

At the same time, 20 BNP men were jailed for one year and nine months under two separate sections in another case filed with Banani Police Station.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain passed the order today.

Of the two cases, one was filed with Tejgaon police station in 2013, while the other one was in 2018 with Banani.

Later, the chargesheet of the cases were submitted by police against the accused.
