DHAKA: The second phase elections to some 118 upazilas will be held on February 27.
 
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed announced the polls schedule at his office on Thursday afternoon.

The CEC also told the journalists that the nomination papers can be submitted by February 2 and it would be scrutinized on February 4.

The nomination papers can be withdrawn by February 11, he added.

Commissioner Shah Newaz and additional secretary of EC Sirajul Islam were among others present at the press meet.
