The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Rahim Ullah, a former lawmaker from the Feni-3 constituency, in the capital’s Dhanmondi area on Saturday (Oct 12) afternoon.

Confirming the matter, RAB-2 Senior Assistant Director (Media) Shihab Karim said he was apprehended in a case filed over the killing of a three-wheeler driver Zafar Ahmed, 53, during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Feni’s Sonagazi.

Legal proceedings are underway following his arrest, he added.
