The BNP National Standing Committee held a meeting Monday night at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office, presided over virtually by acting Chairman Tarique Rahman from London.
The committee discussed the recent June 13 meeting between Tarique Rahman and Prof Muhammad Yunus in London, calling it historic, cordial, and fruitful.
They praised Tarique's political foresight, stating he strengthened national confidence and upheld democratic aspirations, emphasizing the urgency of early parliamentary elections.
