DHAKA: Awami League Presidium Member Suranjti Sengupta said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda should seek apology to the countrymen for her misinformation over the first President of the country.

He came up with the assertion while addressing a conference, arranged by ‘Nouka Samarthak Gosthi’ at Khaza Nazimuddin auditorium in capital’s Segunbagicha area on Friday noon.

Suranjit said, “Khaleda demanded that it is politically, socially and historically proven that Ziaur Rahman was the first President of Bangladesh.”

He also said that Khaleda and her son are giving misinformation and confusing the countrymen and this why they have to seek apology from the countrymen.
