DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party vowed to continue their countrywide blockade until Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina steps down from power.

BNP vice chairman Major (retd) Hafiz made the announcement at a press conference at BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office Friday.

He said, “BNP believes in fair politics. We looked forward to the government through last year. But it has not kept its word of holding another election after January 5.”
