DHAKA: A Jubo Dal leader was held with gunpowder and bomb making materials from city’s Mouchak-Malibagh area on Saturday night.

The detainee is joint general secretary of Ward No-53 Jubo Dal Ramna Thana Dulal Chandra Sheel alias Bulu.

Police sources said, acting on a tip off, police raided in a restaurant of Malibagh area around 6:45pm and held Bulu with one kilogram gunpowder and bomb making materials.

Bulu is accused for vandalizing, arson attack and creating violence in the area.

Ramna Thana Officer-in-Charge Moshiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
