LAXMIPUR: BNP-led 20-party alliance on Friday called dawn-to-dusk hartal in the district for Sunday protesting the detention of acting district BNP president Saidur Rahman Chutto.
District BNP general secretary Sahab Uddin Sabu confirmed about the shutdown to banglanews Friday afternoon.
On the night of February 11, police detained Saidur Rahman Chutto from Sakharipara area of the district Sadar town.
