DHAKA: A group of miscreants blasted three cocktails consecutively in front of Kanti Hotel adjacent to Alia Madrasa in city’s Bakshibazar area Wednesday noon.

The blast took place during the hearing of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s corruption cases in a makeshift court on the madrassa premises.

Chawkbazar Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Derek told banglanews that the miscreants left the place since after the blast.

The security measures have been tightened in the area, he added.
