DHAKA: Court has fixed April 2 as the date for recording deposition against 89 BNP leaders and activists including its joint-secretary general Amanullah Aman and former JCD president Sultan Salahuddin Tuku in two vandalism case filed with Savar Thana.
Acting additional chief judicial magistrate Afroza Shiuli passed the order on Thursday noon.
Earlier on February 18, the court issued an arrest warrant against 23 including Aman and Tuku as they did not appear before the court.
On December 9, 2012, police filed two cases against the BNP leaders and activists charging them with vandalism and creating obstacles on vehicular movement on Dhaka-Aricha highway near Amin Bazar during the blockade sponsored by BNP-led alliance.
