DHAKA: Police nabbed a youth from the road in front of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office in city’s Gulshan area on Wednesday noon.

The detainee is named as Sujon.

Confirming the matter Gulshan Thana sub-inspector (SI) Mohiuddin Alam told banglanews that the youth came to Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office around 1:00pm on the day and showed report cuttings of two newspapers.

The youth also told the police that ‘there is no democracy in the country’, the SI added.

According to Alam, the youth did not disclose his identity while asked by the police.

Then police detained him on suspicion and brought him to Gulshan Thana, he said.
