DHAKA: BNP will participate in the elections of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Chittagong City Corporation (CCC).

Sources from the party think-tanks on Wednesday told banglanews that they would select candidates who have relatively clean images and acceptability among mass people.

Earlier, BNP participated in the elections of Rajshahi, Barisal and Gazipur city corporations and won in all three cities.

Meanwhile, Election Commission (EC) announced that the polls of Chittagong, Dhaka North and South City Corporations will be held on April 28.

March 29 has been fixed as the last date for submitting nomination papers and one will be allowed to withdraw candidacy by April 9.
