DHAKA: A delegation of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is set to meet Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad on Wednesday afternoon, party sources said.

ASM Hannan Shah, Standing Committee Member of BNP, will lead the delegation.

CEC’s personal secretary Mazharul Islam told banglanews that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s advisor SM Abdul Halim, also former cabinet secretary, has an appointment of CEC at 3:30pm.

The delegation will come at that time, Mazharul said.
