100 held in Jessore drives

JESSORE: Police detained at least 100 persons including a BNP man in drives conducted in eight upazilas of Jessore district.

The drives were conducted from Monday midnight to Tuesday morning.

Jessore police control room sources said the detainees are accused in several cases. However, the detainees include one BNP activist, the sources added.
