DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be accorded a civic reception in the city on May 29 for the passage of Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) bill in Indian parliament.
 
The reception will be held under the banner of Jatiya Nagrik Committee, a platform of noted personalities, in city’s Suhrawardy Udyan at 2:30pm on the day.
 
Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Mohammad Nasim disclosed the matter at the night after holding a joint meeting at AL President Sheikh Hasina’ s political office at Dhanmondi in the city.
 
Nasim said a 202-member Nagrik Committee of country’s noted personalities was formed with poet Syed Shamsul Haque as chairman to accord the reception.
