CHITTAGONG: Police, in overnight drives, arrested 102 people, including two activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhtra Shibir, from different places of the district Sunday.

During the drives, police also recovered two Light Guns (LG) and seven rounds of bullets from Satkania Upazila of the district.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) in Chittagong Mohammad Naimul Hasan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that among the arrestees, 22 are accused in regular cases and 78 are wanted in different other cases.

During the drive, the law enforcers also arrested two Jamaat and Shibir men in sabotage cases.
