DHAKA: After lingering eight months, Awami League has sent final letter to the Speaker on Tuesday with the confirmation of expelling Latif Siddique from the party.

Now Speaker Shirin Sharmin Choudhury will decide on the parliament membership of the veteran politician who was massively criticized for hurting religious sentiment with his remarks abroad.

However, Speaker hinted that the decision will be taken as per the Constitution.
