DHAKA: The High Court (HC) on Tuesday granted bail to BNP chairperson’s adviser Shahsuzzaman Dudu in seven cases.

An HC bench comprising Justice KM Abdul Hakim and Justice Ashis Ranjan Das passed the order.

The bench also said there was no bar in releasing Dudu.

Senior lawyer Joynul Abedin filed the bail plea with the court.

Police filed six cases against the BNP leader with Paltan Thana and one case with Mirpur Model Thana on charges of sabotage during the anti-government hartal and blockade around the country enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
