DHAKA: Supreme Court (SC) Appellate Division upheld the High Court orders granting bails to BNP senior leaders Gayeshwar Chandra Roy and Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed in several cases.
An SC bench led by Chief Justice SK Sinha passed the order on Thursday.
On May 7, High Court granted bail to Gayeshwar in a vandalism case of Shahbagh Thana.
On July 2, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was granted bail in four cases filed with Mirpur and Pallabi Thanas of the capital.
