DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned to his Uttara residence from city’s United Hospital.
Family members and close relations brought him to his residence from the hospital on Thursday noon.
After the upcoming Eid, the BNP leader is expected to go abroad for better medical treatment.
BNP chairperson’s media wing official Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier on Wednesday night, Mirza Fakhrul met BNP chief Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence in city.
In the meeting, the leaders exchanged views about the current political situation in the country and also enquired about their health condition.
The BNP chief also asked Mirza Fakhrul to go abroad after upcoming Eid festival.
On July 14, Mirza Fakhrul was released from the prison cell of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on bail.
He was arrested from the premises of National Press Club in city on January 6.
