DHAKA: Police arrested Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) president Rajib Ahsan from Lebukhali Ferry ghat in Patuakhali district on Sunday midnight.

Alongside, four other accomplices of him were also arrested during the time.

Patuakhali correspondent said Rajib Ahsan was taken to Patuakhali DB office from Dumki Thana for interrogation.

BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews around 12:00am.

He was accused in several sabotage cases, said police sources.
