Latif Siddique’s seat announced vacant

FROM JATIYA SANGSAD: Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury informed the House that the Parliamentary seat of Abdul Latif Siddique has been made vacant.

The Speaker announced the vacancy on Thursday evening.

She said that after receiving the resignation letter of Latif Siddique the seat has been vacant according to the Constitution.

Earlier on September 1, the former post and telecommunication minister tendered his resignation letter to the Speaker from his seat of Tangail-4 in his speech at the parliament.
