GAIBANDHA: Police arrested Jamaat-e-Islami Gaibandha district unit ameer Dr Abdur Rahim in several sabotage cases early Sunday.

Gaibandha Sadar Thana sub-inspector (SI) Hasan told banglanews that acting on tip-off, the Jamaat leader was picked up from his residence located in central bus terminal area of the district town at dawn.

He also said that Abdur Rahim, 55, was accused in several sabotage cases.
