DHAKA: A court of chamber judges on Tuesday postponed Tangail-4 (Kalihati) by poll.

Moreover, the court sent Election Commission (EC)’s appeal to the High Court to stay its order over the legality of Abdul Kader Siddique’s nomination paper to the full bench of Appellate Division.

Vacation chamber judge Syed Mahmud Hossain’s court passed the order.

The full bench, to be led by chief justice SK Sinha, will hear the EC appeal on November 2.

However, according to the EC, the Tangail by-poll is scheduled to be held on November 10.
